Date with You: Karin
今年の春、台北にあるライブハウスへ遊びに行った時に、暗がりの一角でDJをしている女の子を見かけた。不思議な選曲をするけれど可愛らしい童顔というアンバランスさに惹かれ、話しかけようと思いつつもなんて話しかけていいのか分からないまま時は過ぎ、インスタで彼女を見かけたのでフォローして、更に時は過ぎ、またその後、あげぽよ！パーティーガールではない彼女をたまたま街で数回見かけたけどモジモジしてしまい話しかけれないままだった。憧れは手の届かないところにあるまま永遠に憧れであれという枠の中に彼女を閉じ込めてしまっていたようだが、インスタグラムという画期的なツールのお陰で彼女にようやくお声掛け（ネットナンパ）することができたので、メールベースでインタビューしてみました。

- 実はKorner（台北にあるライブハウス/クラブ）でカリンちゃんがDJをしているのを実は見かけた事があって、カリンちゃんのDJセットとても良かったです！どんなジャンルの音楽が一番好きなの？
お気に入りの音楽のジャンルっていうのはないの。私にとって良い音楽は良い音楽であって、それがどのジャンルかっていうのはこだわらなくてもいいかなって思ってる。ポップミュージックからインディー、オルタナティブ、全部私のお気に入りだと思う。（でもEDMは心底好かないかも！）
- そういえば、（インスタなどを見る限り）ウサギが大好きなようだけど、なぜなのか教えて？？
ウサギとネコ、両方とも一番好きなの！ウサギは面白いクリーチャーだから。可愛く見えても噛むし脚蹴りしてくるから、あまりこっちからガッといくことはできないよね、ハハ！ウサギってとても変わってて。私の飼ってるウサギは端っこに隠れて私のことをジっと観察して、その間まったく身動きしないの。たまに私について回ったりもするの。すんごく可愛い。エサをあげた時のリアクションも好き。飢え死に寸前みたいな食べ方するから。
- ハハハ！そういえばカリンちゃんがよく日本のテレビ番組を見ている様子がインスタにアップされるけど、どの番組が一番好き？お気に入りの日本の俳優やコメディアンとかいるのかな？
モニタリングと嵐にしやがれ！かな。
俳優は、坂口健太郎が今一番お気に入り！土屋アンナは昔から好きで、いつかこの２人と一緒に仕事できたらいいなって思ってる…
- 台北に住むっていうのはどんな感じ？
（小さい街だから）何かしら皆繋がっていて、気持ち悪くもあり、楽しくもあるって感じ。
- 台北ではどんな風に毎日過ごしてる？
家にこもるのが一番好き。でもたまに、バスにとび乗ってあてもなくフラフラするのも好き。外出するときは、映画を観に行くか、ライブハウスに行くか、Kornerに行くか、バーに行くか、台湾式か日本式の居酒屋かラーメン屋に行くって感じかな。
- 台北で好きな事は？？
夜中でも食べるものに困らないこと！
コンビニもたくさんあるし、夜中から朝早くまでやってたり、24時間オープンしてる豆漿店（台湾式朝ご飯屋さん）も市内にたくさんあるの。
- 台北で嫌いな事は？？
さっきの答えにもあったけど、皆が何かしら繋がってるってことかな…ハハ！
- どの国に訪れたいって思ってる？理由は？
トルコ。パムッカレを見たいから！

- I actually saw you DJ at Korner once, and I really enjoyed your DJ set that you did with your friend! What kind of music you like the most?
Actually I don’t have a favorite one on music genre. For me, good music are good music, it doesn’ t matter which genre it's in . So from pop music to indie, alternative music and all other kinds of good stuff could all be my favorite, i guess. (But I sincerely don’t care for EDM)
- I guess you are obsessed with rabbits by watching your instagram posts, please tell me why...??
I like both rabbits & cats the most! rabbits are a fun creature. They look harmless but when they bite or kick you with their legs, you’ll know that you can’t mess with them, haha. And they are weird, too. My pet rabbit would hide in a corner to spy on me for a long time and wouldn’t move a bit. sometimes, it follow me around. it’s very cute. I also like how they behave when their food is served. They would look like they've been starving for weeks.
- I saw you watching many Japanese TV shows on your instagram posts as well. Which show is your favorite? And who is your favorite Japanese actor/comedian?

For now, is 坂口健太郎！but my all time favorite would be 土屋アンナ. Hope i could work with both of them one day…
- How is it like living in Taipei?
Somehow everyone is connected in some way, sometimes it’s gross, sometimes it’s fun.
- What do you normally do in Taipei?
I like to stay at home most of the time, but i also i like to hop on a bus without destination sometimes.
when I go out, I usually go to cinemas, live houses, korner, bars, 居酒屋(both Taiwanese&Japanese)＆ラーメン屋.
- What's your favorite thing(s) about Taipei?
That it’s very convenient to get food in the middle of the night.
We got so many convenient stores & 豆漿店(sorry i don’t know how to say this in english or Japanese but it’s the place you can get taiwanese breakfast in the middle of the night＆early morning and some of them is 24hr) all over the city.
- What do you dislike about Taipei?
just like i said, everyone is somehow connected to each other…haha
- Which country you'd like to visit? and Why?
Turkey, I want to see Pamukkale!
